the coolness of umbrellas, tri-colored dango, taking control of schedule

2/1/10 room, post dinner- After tea ceremony class I checked my mail again and then visited Koibito. I stopped by the restroom before I left campus (*twitch* pink *twitch*) and found Jayla san. She asked which station I was headed towards and it turns out she uses the same one, Nagoya Daigaku. She asked if we could walk together. I said of course! She said she didn’t have an umbrella with her so I shared mine (see, umbrellas can be cool). She called me her savior; it was funny. ;3 We hurried to the station and she hopped on her train and I waited a couple more minutes for mine.

Once home my host mom had dango for my snack. It was “hanami dango”. There are many different kinds of dango and this kind is made during sakura viewing season. It has three dango on a skewer; one pink (for the cherry blossoms), one white, and one green. It was delicious!!! ;d

I went up to my room and did pilates, checked email and started the previous journal entry. I ate dinner, which was larger than usual. Yay!! And once I finish this I will be doing homework until shower time as my schedule says. I have strictly regimented myself especially during the week. I want February to be the start of me OWNING my schedule, instead of it owning me. (We’ll see how that works out…) [19:10]
