Over the past few days I have been trying to get stuff done and study. I trimmed my hair today and planned for the party we are having at My English Room on Sunday. I am making brownies and a sheet cake for the event. :D The sheet cake is for one of the workers there who has a birthday coming up. The party is partially for him and partially for another worker who is leaving Japan soon and we are giving her a proper send off! I decided not to go to Japanese lessons tonight but go on Saturday night instead. OH! And the cake I'm making, it's for a Swedish guy so I am decorating it like the Swedish flag! Should be fun! :P I HAVE to remember to bring my camera and take a picture of it! Also my friend Judi is letting me borrow a yukata for the party. Hopefully it will be more comfortable than the kimono I tried on at my host mom's house!
Speaking of my host mom though... She invited me to a fun lecture at the Nagoya Center library on the same day as the party! :..( I was so sad to turn her down! But I hope I can have dinner at her house soon.
Now I must plan for a good icing recipe and blue and yellow food coloring! (the Swedish flag's colors)
